What many people thought was one of Hollywood's most in love couples are calling it quits. The news that Heidi Klum -- model and host of the popular fashion reality show "Project Runway" -- and her musician husband Seal have chosen to end their marriage broke this past weekend.

The couple married approximately seven years ago and renewed their marriage vows on an annual basis. A divorce by a couple that seemed to not only have great looks but a great relationship goes to show that any couple may eventually seek divorce as a way to end a relationship.

The Hollywood "it" couple said that they simply are not the same two people they were when they fell in love. "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate. We have the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart," they said in a statement to the press.

The couple married in 2005 and had three children. In their statements, they have made it clear that they want the separation to go smoothly for their children.

An amicable divorce would make it easier for the couple to keep the private details out of the public eye. It will be up to them whether they want to set their own terms in a settlement agreement or have a court determine custody arrangements, property division or any possible support. The couple's divorce would be considered a high-asset divorce.
